We play digital audio of the highest quality through our analog system: tube amplifiers and OJAS KO-R1 speakers. Designed by Devon Turnbull, the KO-R1 creates hyper-realistic and detailed, warm and natural soundscapes. They generate absolute presence in the sound. In our space designed for deep listening, you will discover hidden details, textures, and movements impossible to feel in headphones.

why Amores Perros (Banda Sonora Original Reedición 25° Aniversario)
This session is part of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Amores Perros. As part of the anniversary, MUBI presents a new 4K restoration of the film, supervised by Alejandro G. Iñárritu and Rodrigo Prieto, with an international re-release that will allow a new generation to discover it in the best possible conditions. As part of that celebration, on sona we are presenting a special edition of the soundtrack. A selection of songs and original music designed to be listened to on its own, without the film. For one hour, the images are set aside and the soundtrack takes center stage. It is a different way to return to Amores Perros, before watching it again on MUBI.

FAQ
can i cancel my ticket?+
yes. cancel any booking through this website. you'll get credits for the seats you paid for if you cancel at least 24 hours before the session (12 hours if you have an active Sona Members or All Access subscription). inside that window the booking can still be cancelled, but no credits are issued and there are no cash refunds. credits work on any future session.
is there a dress code?+
no, but we recommend wearing something comfortable for sitting on the floor. because the room is very quiet, we recommend soft fabrics. try to avoid "noisy" synthetic materials like nylon or windbreakers, as the sound of moving in them can be distracting to others. also, we leave our shoes at the door, so we recommend wearing warm socks.
what if i can't sit on the floor?+
if you need a chair for medical or physical reasons, please let us know when you arrive.
can i buy a drink?+
yes, we serve a curated selection of non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks, but all refreshments must be finished before you enter the soundroom.
