Deep Listening in Resonance with the Work
Sunday, April 12
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Sunday, April 12 | 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm (60 mins)
A musical selection curated by the artist themselves around one of their works. Through a carefully constructed sonic collection, the atmospheres, references, and sensitivities surrounding that piece unfold, extending its universe beyond the visible. It is not about illustrating it, but about accompanying it: opening a space where sound makes it possible to inhabit it from another dimension and deepen its concept.
Hi-Fi Stereo
We play digital audio of the highest quality through our analog system: tube amplifiers and OJAS KO-R1 speakers. Designed by Devon Turnbull, the KO-R1 creates hyper-realistic and detailed, warm and natural soundscapes. They generate absolute presence in the sound. In our space designed for deep listening, you will discover hidden details, textures, and movements impossible to feel in headphones.

After this first season, we bid farewell to Alexandra Germán's piece Evotranspiración No.2 from our contemplation space. The artist prepared a sound journey that accompanies the water cycles from the earthly to the ethereal: beginning with organic textures and acoustic landscapes that evoke the earth, the trees, and the moisture at rest, moving through voices and compositions that suggest movement, transformation, and ascent, until reaching more open and suspended pieces that refer to the formation and dissolution of clouds. Through artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and Anna Clyne, Marina Herlop, Meredith Monk, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, the playlist moves between the instrumental, the vocal, and the ambient, creating a listening experience that shifts between the intimate and the expansive. It is a farewell that does not close, but rather slowly evaporates: an invitation to listen to how sound can also transpire and transform.
Alexandra Germán (1986) is a Mexican photographer and visual artist, born in England and based in Mexico City, whose work focuses on a sensitive observation of the sky and meteorological phenomena. Trained at the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos and with key support from FONCA, PECDA, and CONACyT, her career includes exhibitions in venues such as the Museo de Arte de Ciudad Juárez, the Foto Museo Cuatro Caminos, and the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional, as well as participation in international fairs such as Zona MACO and Paris Photo, represented by Patricia Conde Galería. Through photography, drawing, and animation, she has built a personal language in which clouds become both an object of study and poetic material, exploring their transformation, duration, and movement to open a contemplative view of time and perception.
