Wednesday, October 28 | 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm (90 mins)
A series of sessions curated by people and projects we admire. Brands, festivals, friends, and selectors invite us to listen through their ears. Here, what is heard matters as much as who chooses it.

We play the highest quality digital audio available on Apple Music through our Genelec reference system, in Dolby Atmos spatial audio format. An immersive experience that connects you with presence and depth. In our space designed for deep listening, you will discover hidden details, textures, and movements impossible to feel on headphones.
18 seats remaining - 90-minute session
How does our perception of music change when sound occupies a three-dimensional space? In this sona session, we’ll explore how a spatial audio experience is created and how the position, depth, and relationships between sounds transform the way we listen. Through musical examples and a guided conversation, we’ll discover the expressive possibilities of Dolby Atmos, the decisions that shape an immersive experience, and the details that can go unnoticed when we listen to music in the background. Joining us are two Grammy-nominated audio engineers, who will share their perspectives on sound in space and guide us toward a more mindful way of listening. Because understanding how music is constructed can also change the way we experience it.
Nacho Sotelo - Mixing and mastering engineer, multiple Latin Grammy winner and Grammy nominee. He has worked with artists such as Mon Laferte, Carla Morrison, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cuco, and Kenia OS. From his studio in Mexico City, he works on stereo mixing, mastering, and immersive audio, including Dolby Atmos. Daniel Bitrán Arizpe - Recording and mixing engineer and music producer, founder and lead engineer of El Desierto Casa Estudio, a residential studio located in the forest of Desierto de los Leones, on the outskirts of Mexico City. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Natalia Lafourcade, Silvana Estrada, Siddhartha, and Enrique Bunbury. His work combines technical rigor with an approach focused on preserving the artistic intent of each production.

no, but we recommend wearing something comfortable for sitting on the floor. because the room is very quiet, we recommend soft fabrics. try to avoid "noisy" synthetic materials like nylon or windbreakers, as the sound of moving in them can be distracting to others. also, we leave our shoes at the door, so we recommend wearing warm socks.
if you need a chair for medical or physical reasons, please let us know when you arrive.
yes, we serve a curated selection of non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks, but all refreshments must be finished before you enter the soundroom.
