Through a carefully constructed sonic collection, the atmospheres, references, and sensitivities surrounding that piece unfold, extending its universe beyond the visible. It is not about illustrating it, but about accompanying it: opening a space where sound makes it possible to inhabit it from another dimension and deepen its concept.

why Orbe Latente - Hugo Robledo
Hugo Robledo constructs worlds that never quite finish appearing or disappearing. His paintings and ceramic sculptures propose architectural spaces that float between ruin and utopia: structures that could be remains of an ancient civilization or the plans for a city that does not yet exist. Orbe Latente begins from a question that also matters to us at sona: can imagination be a habitable space? Robledo responds with forms that invoke Latin American modernism, the Mesoamerican, the Mesopotamian, dissimilar temporalities that coexist on the same surface. The result is parallel worlds where time does not move in a straight line. It is a session for those who find in architecture something more than construction: a way of thinking about being here.

yes, you can cancel your booking 24 hours before the session through this website. we will give you a credit to book a future date. we do not offer cash refunds, and we cannot offer credits for cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice.
is there a dress code?+
no, but we recommend wearing something comfortable for sitting on the floor. because the room is very quiet, we recommend soft fabrics. try to avoid "noisy" synthetic materials like nylon or windbreakers, as the sound of moving in them can be distracting to others. also, we leave our shoes at the door, so we recommend wearing warm socks.
what if i can't sit on the floor?+
if you need a chair for medical or physical reasons, please let us know when you arrive.
can i buy a drink?+
yes, we serve a curated selection of non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks, but all refreshments must be finished before you enter the soundroom.
