MUBI presents

MUBI invites us into this deep listening experience, made possible by our acoustically treated room with high-fidelity sound. We are pausing our regular programming to host a total of six deep listening sessions. In addition to the sessions, SIRÃT and MUBI are taking over our space to offer a tea and aroma experience inspired by Morocco, while also transforming our gallery with an exhibition of stills from SIRÃT.

Hi-Fi Stereo

We play digital audio of the highest quality through our analog system: tube amplifiers and OJAS KO-R1 speakers. Designed by Devon Turnbull, the KO-R1 creates hyper-realistic and detailed, warm and natural soundscapes. They generate absolute presence in the sound. In our space designed for deep listening, you will discover hidden details, textures, and movements impossible to feel in headphones.

why SIRĀT – Sesión 1

The Spanish director Oliver Laxe's fourth feature film stood out in 2025 as the winner of the Jury Prize at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. And in the recent 2026 awards season, it stood out by winning six awards at the 40th Goya Awards — including Best Original Score and Best Sound. In addition, it was nominated for Best Original Score and Best Non-English Language Film at the 83rd Golden Globes; and for Best International Feature Film and Best Sound at the 98th Academy Awards. The renowned French DJ Kangding Ray was responsible for the original music, a soundtrack composed of 12 tracks full of techno, synthesizers, and mechanical sounds that accompany the viewer throughout the entire film. An intense sensory experience, which through its abstract and experimental approach creates a latent and inexplicable emotion.

curated by MUBI

MUBI is a global streaming platform, producer, and film distributor, devoted to a single idea: that films deserve to be watched attentively. It was born from the conviction that great cinema—the ambitious, the daring, the unforgettable—needs a space that cares for it and defends it. Since then, it has curated, produced, and distributed works by iconic directors and new voices that are redefining the language of cinema. More than a platform, it is a way of inhabiting cinema: with time, with discernment, with wonder.
