Philip Glass: Aguas da Amazonia – Uakti

Hear the full album exactly as they sounded the day they were mastered (or re-mastered) in the studio. Focused on pure audio fidelity, this session captures the rich texture, original warmth, and physical presence of legendary recordings.

We play digital audio of the highest quality through our analog system: tube amplifiers and OJAS KO-R1 speakers. Designed by Devon Turnbull, the KO-R1 creates hyper-realistic and detailed, warm and natural soundscapes.

They generate absolute presence in the sound.

In our space designed for deep listening, you will discover hidden details, textures, and movements impossible to feel in headphones.

"This record represents a true fusion between my music and their sensitivity. For me, it is a delight and a pleasure to hear the final result." – Philp Glass

Uakti (pronounced “wah-ke-chee”) is one of the most exciting and singular musical ensembles in the world. This contemporary Brazilian group has been praised for its bold fusion of very diverse styles, from classical music to New Age and world music. Its name comes from an Amazonian legend: Uakti was a huge creature with holes all over its body, and every time it ran through the forest, the wind passing through it produced wonderful and intriguing sounds.

Like the legendary creature, Uakti creates incredible sounds. The magic of their music begins with the construction of their own exotic instruments from everyday materials: tubes, glass, metal, stones, rubber, and even water. For Uakti, anything can produce sound.

We select albums for their cultural relevance, emotional depth, rich textures, and technical detail—to ensure they sound their absolute best in our space.

no phones: anything that produces sound must be stored in our secure lockers.

no talk: we keep the soundroom silent so everyone can focus on the music.

no late entry: once the soundroom doors close (20 minutes after the booking time), we cannot let anyone in.
